University of Greenwich
The Dreadnought Building refurbishment has been designed to offer a central student hub for the campus, as well as offering office accommodation and access to student services. Working alongside construction partner Willmott Dixon, Portsdown provided a design and consultancy service to plan the spaces to fit stakeholders brief, and selected the most suitable furniture within the budget. We provided a full turnkey supply and installation of over £650k of loose and fixed furniture solutions.
Client Profile
Greenwich University was established in 1980 and is located on the banks of the river Thames in the shadow of the Greenwich Observatory. It occupies a range of buildings in the area, many of them Grade II listed and part of a World Heritage site in the south east of London. It offers a range of world class courses and is in the top 300 universities in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
