Tonbridge Library
Portsdown were appointed to assist with the Interior Design and furnishing the newly refurbished Tonbridge Library in Kent, providing a dynamic, inviting and flexible space. Working with the key project stake holders we developed an agile and resilient environment that can adapt and flex with the needs of the constantly evolving role of a public library in the community.
Client Profile
The Tonbridge Library refurbishment was part of a scheme to refurbish some of Kent’s more dilapidated libraries and encourage residents back to the high street and into the library. Kent’s libraries offer a wide range of services - from free access to books, computers, internet and information to the hire of music, audio books and films.
