Portsdown achieves ISO Recertification

Portsdown has achieved recertification to two industry recognised and highly respected international standards, ISO 9001 for Quality Management, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management. Both recertifications were achieved with no Non-Conformities or observations.
Portsdown is certified and regularly audited by Exova BM Trada to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. It maps out a framework for companies to set up an effective environmental management system and assures that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
The certification visit took place over the course of two days, and resulted with no observations or non-conformities being raised.
